Memphis Intermodal Facility Update: Truck Spot Check-In

BNSF remains committed to working collaboratively with the trucking community to enhance the driver experience at our intermodal facilities. To further this effort, we are implementing a new Truck Spot Check-In process at our Memphis Intermodal Facility beginning Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

Truck Spot Check-In enables drivers to confirm arrival at their assigned truck or transfer spot after submitting a lift request in the wide span crane area. Checking in the through the RailPASS app automatically triggers a work order for the crane operator, reducing delays and improving yard efficiency through better driver-operator communication.

To complete the Truck Spot Check-In process, drivers can follow these steps in the RailPASS app:

Our Driver Experience Coordinators will be on-site to assist drivers, answer questions and provide guidance on downloading and using RailPASS. Whether a new or returning user, drivers should ensure they have the latest version of RailPASS from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
